Wahat al-Salam-Neve Shalom, Arabic and Hebrew for Oasis of Peace, is a village of Palestinian and Jewish citizens of Israel dedicated to building justice, peace and equality in the country and the region. Situated equidistant from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv-Jaffa, the community was established in 1970.
Presenter Dr. Nava Sonnenschein is founder of the School for Peace (SFP) at Wahat al Salam/Neve Shalom, an intentional community jointly established by Jewish and Palestinian Arab citizens of Israel. She has trained hundreds of Palestinian and Jewish facilitators to facilitate groups in conflict in Israel, Palestine and in other areas of conflict in the world.
