In December 1997, an endowed fund was established to honor the life time commitment of Peter and Irma Fahr to helping those in need. This year is the 25th Anniversary of this Fund. The Funds guidelines are to distribute income directly to those individuals in needs, to The Minister’s discretionary fund, to specific social service projects of East Shore intended to help the needy and to social service agencies or special programs with Lake or Geauga County intended to help the needy. The thrust of the fund shall be to provide help for the needy in the form of food, clothing and shelter.
In honor the 25th Anniversary, the Trustees (Pam Leininger, Dee Beacham and Sue Borstein) with Board of Trustees approval are planning to distribute $2500 from the Fund. East Shore Members are encouraged to submit Grant requests. Starting on November 6th, 2022 Grants applications will be available in the Narthex, from the Trustees, and online. Deadline for Grant submission will be Monday, December 5th, 2022. Grant Submission should be returned to the office mailroom or emailed to Sue Borstein at email@example.com.
