Held at East Shore’s Sanctuary: Old South UCC, Community Church of Chesterland, and East Shore are coming together in shared song and shared purpose. Join Old South UCC, Community Church of Chesterland, and East Shore for a powerful evening of music, solidarity, and hope as we lift our voices for justice and ring the bell of freedom.
This interfaith Community Hymn Sing / Protest Sing will weave together historic protest songs, modern movement music, and justice-centered hymns that have sustained generations in the struggle for dignity, liberation, and beloved community.
From the spirituals that carried resilience through oppression to contemporary songs calling us to action today, we will sing not just as individuals, but as a united community committed to compassion, equity, and courage.
All are welcome. No musical experience required — just bring your voice and your heart.
Come sing. Come stand. Come be strengthened for the work of justice.
