Topic: Immigration Stories
We will share our own family immigration stories at the next meeting of Our Sisters’ Keepers on Sunday, Feb. 1 at 2pm. A pertinent topic, given the times: we are all immigrants, whether we arrived two years or 200 years ago.
The meeting will be held at the Orange Community Library, 31300 Chagrin Blvd, Orange Village, Ohio 44124. If weather is bad, we will meet via Zoom – check your email for Zoom link.
OSK is an interfaith, inter-cultural women’s group started in 2017 for local women to seek solidarity during the time of Muslim travel bans in the United States.
The organization was started in 2017 by women at East Shore and the Muslim Association of Cleveland East. Since then, sisters of many other faiths have joined. Contact Jerie Green, jgreen@lakenetwork.net, if you would like to be added to the OSK mailing list.
