April 14, 2019: “Flags, Aspiration and Jingoism”

In any nation, the flag is a symbol loaded with meaning, but the United States these days, that seems to be the case more than ever.  For some of us it’s about who we want to be; for some it’s about something that never will be.  Who is included?  And who is left out?

The service will be followed by a special congregational meeting on by-laws, then a Town Hall style meeting on safety and security.  Please join us, and bring along a pot luck dish to share, so we have sustenance for the two hours together.
