Love. Revere. Discover. Connect.

Letter from the Minister: March 15, 2024

Dear Friends,

As March unfolds its embrace, it beckons us to listen closely to its whispers. The allure of gardens, the earthy aroma of soil, the invigorating trails for hiking, and the revitalizing essence of spring enveloping us – all remind us of the beauty of vulnerability. Just like daffodils courageously poke through the snow, let us embrace our vulnerabilities as pathways to growth and renewal.

Henry David Thoreau’s words resonate deeply: “Spring is a natural resurrection, an experience in immortality.” May this season bring forth not just renewal but a deep sense of connection to our inner selves and each other. Let us ponder: which way does vulnerability lead us this spring?

In the verses of Rumi’s Moving Water, we find solace: “When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy…Don’t insist on going where you think you want to go. Ask the way to the spring…” Let us allow vulnerability to guide us, to flow through us like a river, leading us to unexpected yet enriching destinations.

As the weather beckons us to venture outdoors, let us not only revel in the promise of winter’s end but also in the opportunity to deepen our connections with one another and with nature. Let vulnerability be our bridge, our common ground, as we navigate the seasons of life together.

Wishing you a peaceful Equinox and a Happy Easter, filled with the warmth of vulnerability and the embrace of community.

In Peace,

Rev Will
