Loose Collection split recommendations

Each year East Shore donates to one charity a month one half of that month’s loose offering.  Except, if there is a fifth Sunday, that split goes to the Minister’s Discretionary Fund. The Finance Committee is asking for recommendations for charities to support for fiscal year 2024-2025.

Please send your recommendations to David Michel, Treasurer Treasurer@eastshore.org and by April 9th. See below for current candidates.

The policy is that each charity must be:

1) Verified non-profit 501(c)(3) organization;

2) Be in the NE Ohio area unless a UU organization;

3) Must have a tie-in to our 7 Principles, if not a UU organization; and

4) Must have an ESUUC Member or Friend recommendation.
