Melany earned her BA and M.Ed both at the University of Maryland in Education. She has a love for learning, bicycling, creating curriculum, training and teaching. She has a checkered religious background that includes many faiths including Catholic, Baptist, Mormon, Pagan, and her favorite – which is Unitarian Universalist. She and her husband were at ESUUC about 21 years ago and both of their children were dedicated here at East Shore. She is happy to be back and to have the opportunity to be the Religious Education Coordinator.
