Audre Lorde once equated self care to self preservation.  After all, if we can’t preserve ourselves, how could we ever preserve the world, much less change it for the better?  But care for the world and care for the self need not be two separate things that support each other.  They can be the same thing.

The first Sunday of the month is Food Sunday, when we collect non-perishable food items for the Old South Church food pantry to distribute to our neighbors in need.
